| "Bandon Lighthouse"
"The Coquille river in Bandon in South Central
Oregon, is the site of this small, uniquely shaped lighthouse. Before being
abondoned by the Coast Guard in 1939, the lighthouse served both as a seacoast
beacon and harbor entrance at what some pilots and navigators consider
Oregon's most dangerous bar."
