| "Blue Crocus"
"The 'blue crocus' in a shady spot in your
garden, quietly say, 'hello spring". Daffodils may nod and glow and
tulips may dance and shine, but my favorites are the shy, quiet crocus,
calmly announcing the end of each day."

Carol Thompson's personal garden is the subject of this series of watercolor paintings entitled "Carol's Garden". These florals are inspired by the many hours of pleasure received from working the rich soil, nurturing the seedlings, and admiring the fragrant blossoms. Her garden is her getaway, a place to clear her mind; to daydream, a place to get in touch with nature, and a place to think, plan, and just relax. |
