"A Peaceful Moment" by Carol Thompson

A Peaceful Moment

"The sun has risen on a beautiful day. The water at the marina is relatively calm. It is a peaceful moment before the busy day."

Artist comment:  "Painting boats has always been a passion for me. I love the contrast of the rounded lines with the straight hard angles of the masts and spars. This particular scene was a fun piece to paint with the strong sunlight and dark shadows."
