| "Always Remember"

| "Always Remember" is my tribute to the
United States of America commemorating the September 11th, 2001 tragic
event.
Explosions in stark blue turned into flames. The fire burned so hot it seemed the very stars were melting. Drops of blood flowed into the ashes. But, even as the embers glowed, new life began. Our nation is made up of many peoples from
different cultures. In some cultures the crow represents the sun,
the dawn, a new day. The crow to the Native Americans is the creative
principle. The gold cleat upon which the crow stands signifies the
economy, whereupon the ships of industry tie. The crow
stands ready to fly; his back to the devastation, facing
the bright future symbolized by white, the color of peace, purity and virtue.
His countenance is one of fierce determination. Red is the color
for war, anger, victory in battle. Blue indicates calm authority.
Before the crow these colors level off and stretch out of sight into the
future.
